The sun's energy goes to the producer which in this case is seagrass. Tprimary consumer is a manatee. It is strictly a herbivore, and eats the sea grass. The manates's energy goes to the alligator who is a carnivore and is the secondary consumer. THis can be represented in the picture attached to this post. Carbon is important for the manatee becasue it releases it when it breathes. The the plants filter it and create oxygen. Thmanatees need oxygen to breathe, and they also eat theplants. It needs hydrogen because it is used in H2O (water), and the manatees live in water. Nitrogen and Phosphorous can be very harmful to the manatess environment. High levels of both, nitorgen and phosphorous, are found in red tide. Red tide is like a blanket over the water that prevents sunlight from entering the water, and eventually causes death to many of the organisms
